- By sector > Government sector per million people: Total number of researchers employed in the government sector. Figures expressed per million people for the same year.
- By sector > Higher education sector: Total number of researchers employed by post-secondary institutions such as universities and colleges.
- By sector > Higher education sector (Headcounts): Total number of researchers hired by post-secondary institutions such as universities and colleges.
- By sector > Higher education sector (Headcounts) per thousand people: Total number of researchers hired by post-secondary institutions such as universities and colleges. Figures expressed per thousand people for the same year.
- By sector > Higher education sector per thousand people: Total number of researchers employed by post-secondary institutions such as universities and colleges. Figures expressed per thousand people for the same year.
