“Unrecorded alcohol” is not taxed and is outside of governmental control. It includes alcohol that is homemade (legally or illegally), smuggled or obtained through cross-border shopping. Developed asian countries like China, South Korea and Japan also register high cigarette consumption, while Africa hosts the countries with less consumption.
