Definitions
- Duration: Number of years students study at the pre-primary (preschool) level. It should be noted that not all countries require pre-primary education.
- Starting age: Average age at which students begin pre-primary (preschool) education.
- Students per teacher: Number of students per teacher for pre-primary (preschool) education.
- Trained teachers > Both sexes: Percentage of all pre-primary (preschool) teachers with at least the minimum level of traning required to teach at the pre-primary level.
- Trained teachers > Men: Percentage of male pre-primary (preschool) teachers with at least the minimum level of traning required to teach at the pre-primary level.
- Trained teachers > Women: Percentage of female pre-primary (preschool) teachers with at least the minimum level of traning required to teach at the pre-primary level.
