- By sector > Higher education sector per thousand people: Total number of researchers employed by post-secondary institutions such as universities and colleges. Figures expressed per thousand people for the same year.
- Technicians: Total number of male and female technicians, defined as people who possess technical knowledge and are experienced in their fields of work. Technicians are below researchers, and often work under their supervision.
- Technicians per million people: Number of technicians in HC. Figures expressed per million people for the same year.
