- Food and drink > Alcohol > Alcohol consumed from > All drinks: Average liters of pure alcohol consumed annually from legally and illegally produced alcohol, by the population above 14 years of age. The consumption of tourists is excluded for countries with more tourists per year than resident population.
- Food and drink > Alcohol > Alcohol consumed from > Beer: Average liters of pure alcohol consumed annually in the form of beer, by the population above 14 years of age.
- Food and drink > Beer consumption: Total national beer consumption (litres).

The estimate cigarette consumption -measured in annual cigarettes per adult/year- in the country with the cheapest prices in this list (Indonesia) is roughly double of that in the country with the most expensive tobacco (Norway).

Average liters of pure alcohol consumed annually in the form of “unrecorded alcohol” by the population above 14 years of age. The consumption of tourists is excluded for countries with more tourists per year than resident population.
“Unrecorded alcohol” is not taxed and is outside of governmental control. It includes alcohol that is homemade (legally or illegally), smuggled or obtained through cross-border shopping. - Smoking > Tobacco vending machine legal status: This stat shows the legal status of cigarette vending machines, i.e. where they can be located, their requirements of use and the minimal legal age to purchase from them. Several countries have banned these machines altogether, with examples including France and several eastern European countries, like Estonia, Georgia, Croatia, Poland, Latvia and Lithuania.
